By Adnews Staff
The Kontent Group of Toronto debuted a new style magazine for men called Sir last month. Approximately 150,000 copies of the publication were distributed nationally to subscribers of the Globe and Mail on Oct. 14. The magazine is also being sold on newsstands in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. The publication is lead by editor-in-chief Jeanne Beker and creative director Michael King. Its subject matter includes architecture, fashion, grooming and other lifestyle topics. "Not only is men's fashion increasingly eclectic and electric, but men are becoming more confident when it comes to making strong sartorial statements," said Beker. "Men's appreciation for style and design in general is escalating. We felt the time was right to give men a special, handsome publication as a springboard for their stylish dreams." The Kontent Group also publishes women's fashion magazine FQ and Inside Entertainment magazine.
