Carat Canada gains two accounts

Toronto-based media services company Carat Canada has been retained by women's fashion retailer Mango to handle media planning and buying. Mango, which is based in Barcelona, Spain, expanded into Canada in the spring of this year. The company, which sells products aimed at young, urban women, now has five stores in Toronto and Montreal. Carat Canada has also recently been assigned the media planning and buying responsibilities of Australia Tourism. The agency has since launched a joint campaign for Australia Tourism and airline Qantas involving specialty television and online advertising. The campaign is promoting the Qantas Aussie Airpass, a package of international and domestic flights for travelers to Australia.
