Toronto-based Teehan+Lax has redesigned CanWest Interactive's Driving.ca website. The site integrates the automotive classified ads of CanWest's newspapers. The modifications are intended to make it easier for users to search for new and used vehicles. Additional changes are intended to improve the experience of car dealers using the site. "By leveraging our print and online capabilities and content, we are giving sellers new and innovative advertising opportunities and putting more power in the hands of the consumer to help them make informed purchase decisions," said Laura Pearce, online autos director at CanWest Interactive.
Nightlife Magazine of Montreal has constructed a new website at <http://www.nightlifemagazine.ca>. The site contains selected content from the print magazine, plus a new feature that will track events, shows and launches. "Our goal is a site where information will be easily accessible, with articles, agendas and directories. In addition, readers will be able to subscribe to Nightlife News and have access to information, contests and exclusivities," said Nightlife editor Martine Desjardins. The site will be promoted with a campaign called "Get Online" that will include ads in the magazine, 200 out-of-home displays from Newad and print ads in the Saturday editions of the La Presse Arts section for four weeks. Nightlife is a division of Newad.
