Aim Media Group launches nightclub advertising division

Aim Media Group of Toronto has created a new division called BarNet Digital. The national out-of-home media service offers an inventory of advertising displays on video screens in bars and nightclubs. The screens, which range in size from 19 inches to 42 inches, are located around the service areas of each venue. In addition to advertising, the screens display entertainment-oriented video clips, interactive messages, announcements and information about the venue. The company is currently operating in 50 venues in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. The firm plans to expand into 100 locations by the second quarter of 2006.
