Bell Canada shuffles agency assignments

Bell Canada has appointed Cossette Communications its lead agency for all English- and French-language creative assignments, direct marketing, sponsorship activities, and national media planning and buying. Cossette's previous work for Bell was limited to French-language advertising. The telecommunication company's English advertising was previously handled by Grip. In addition, Rethink Communications will collaborate with Cossette on the creative development of English-language ad campaigns. According to Bell, Grip will remain on the company's agency roster and "will play a dedicated role in ongoing marketing communication programs." No other details are available at press time.
