Pepsi-QTG holds ultimate breakfast contest

Pepsi-QTG Canada of Mississauga has begun a consumer promotion called "Wake Up a Winner" for its Quaker and Tropicana brands. The promotion consists of a contest which will award 12 winners an "Ultimate Breakfast Vacation" for two to the Gran Bahia Principe Tulum resort in Mexico. The contest began on Oct. 3 and will run until Nov. 24. Consumers enter the contest through a website at <http://www.wakeupawinner.ca>. Each weekday during the promotion, a qualifier will be announced on the CTV program Canada AM. Two winners will be selected from the previous week's qualifiers each Monday. The 12 winners will also appear on a live broadcast of Canada AM from the resort. The contest is being promoted with in-store materials, special packaging and media exposure during Canada AM broadcasts. Email advertising and links on the CTV.ca and ITravel.ca websites. The promotion and its supporting materials were developed by OSL Marketing of Mississauga. Additional participating companies include Sunquest Vacations and the Mexican and Mayan Riviera tourism boards.
