Planet in Focus breaks campaign

Planet in Focus, an annual environmental film festival in Toronto, has begun a new ad campaign to promote its 2005 event. The series of print ads take familiar lines from popular movies and modify them to deliver an environmental message. One ad displays the line, "Frankly my dear, I give a damn." Another reads, "A river used to run through it." The campaign is running in Now Magazine, This Magazine, Literary Review Canada and Alternatives Journal. The campaign was created by Toronto-based ACLC, the festival's pro-bono creative sponsor. Planet in Focus will take place from Sept. 28 to Oct. 2.
