CAA hires Redwood for magazine redesign
By Adnews Staff
The Canadian Automobile Association has retained Redwood Custom Communications of Toronto to redesign and relaunch its membership magazine. Redwood will produce the magazine for the CAA and handle advertising sales. The roadside assistance company currently produces three titles: Leisureways, Going Places and Journey. These will be consolidated under one masthead as part of the redesign. "The new magazine will be an editorial and visual showcase that will be founded on CAA brand values and will deliver features geared to the lifestyle and travel interests of the CAA member," said Maria Deotto, vice-president of client services at Redwood. "The magazine will reinforce CAA's reputation as a trusted source of travel expertise as well as a great source for travel and home services such as insurance." The debut issue of the new 84-page magazine will be distributed in February 2006 to 1.5 million CAA customers nationally. Three additional issues are also planned for 2006.
