SHAW GOING COUNTRY

The radio division of Shaw Communications of Calgary has agreed to buy Calgary radio station CKRY-FM Country 105 from Redmond Broadcasting Inc. of St. Catharines, Ont. The deal is subject to approval by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission. Shaw says Country 105 is the number one station in its market. Shaw operates Canada's second largest cable television operation.
