Microsoft, MuchMusic begin second summer tour

Microsoft Canada and MuchMusic will conduct another joint promotion this summer called the "Xbox Presents Much Unleashed Tour 2005." The national tour, managed by CIM of Toronto, will include 100 stops nationally. Attendees will be able to sample games, win prizes and get an early look at the upcoming Xbox 360 video game console. Bell Sympatico/MSN, and 7-Eleven will also participate in the promotion this year. "It's a powerhouse branding opportunity we couldn't pass up, and it engages fans across the country," said Susan Arthur, director of marketing at MuchMusic. "Last year's tour generated amazing feedback from across the country, so we really wanted to add something special to the mix this time around," said Dawn Martynuik, promotions and partnership manager at Microsoft Canada. "The preview of Xbox 360 will give people a taste of the amazing experiences they can look forward to this holiday, and really get everyone excited on the tour."
