Porter Novelli reorganizes, begins branding campaign

Toronto-based Porter Novelli Canada has brought a new global branding campaign for the public relations agency to this country. The campaign uses the tagline "Many Minds. Singular Results." Its purpose is to describe the agency's services, and portray the firm as a place where individual abilities combine to produce results. The campaign was created by in-house by staff from several of the agency's offices around the world. "Changing demographics, technology and a more complex business environment are impacting dramatically what clients are looking for in public relations programs that measurably make a difference in their business," said Sheila Corriveau, president of Porter Novelli Canada. "They are demanding an unbiased examination of their communications landscape and a partner who can architect solutions that are not dependent on any one discipline, tool, technique or medium. This thinking is what's behind Porter Novelli's new brand campaign." The new branding will be used in the company's communications, its website, advertising, and other collateral materials. The campaign is also intended to reflect a recent restructuring of the agency around the three areas of marketing, corporate communications and public affairs. The global parent agency has appointed people to lead its core industry groups of technology, health care and consumer. The reorganization also includes the formation of 11 specialty areas such as research, advertising and interactive work. Porter Novelli has also formed an overall executive committee that will advise on policy issues such as client account standards and service innovations.
