Grant Sign Group opens digital print division
By Adnews Staff
The Grant Sign Group of Companies of Toronto has opened a new digital print division called Grant Sign Imaging. It will produce large and small format outdoor advertising faces and on-premise signage. The division will be headed by CEO Steve Gallow and president Will Thomson. Gallow is one of the three co-owners of Grant Sign Group. Most recently he was a senior vice-president at Cieslok Media. Thomson was previously director of operations at Prismaflex. "Advertisers buy their campaigns from media companies who have the advertising agency send the job elsewhere for production and installation," said Gallow. "More often than not, Grant Sign Service does the installation. So we thought, why not offer production ourselves? I know many agencies and advertisers will appreciate this more streamlined approach to getting their campaigns up and running." Grant Sign Group's other divisions are Grant Sign Service, Media Maintenance and Rite Sign International.
In related news, Bill Mullen has joined Grant Sign Group as president of Rite Sign International. The division holds the North American manufacturing and marketing rights for the Rite Sign line of tri-vision billboards and related products. Mullen was previously vice-president of sales at Rite Sign USA. He has also worked at Prismaflex International, Gallop & Gallop Advertising and Mediacom.
