Building supplier begins Mud Tour

CGC, a Mississauga-based supplier of wall and ceiling products, has begun a national dealer campaign called "The CGC Mud Tour." During the tour, company representatives will visit building supply dealers and construction sites in Canada to promote its products to the people who use them. The initiative also includes a contest, the winner of which will receive a trip to a NASCAR race. "It's the first time we've done a program like this," says Pat Lisson, director of marketing at CGC. "We thought it was an innovative way to connect with the people who actually use our products." The program and its supporting creative were produced by Gilbert + Davis of Toronto.
