Ultramar resumes Reveal-A-Deal promotion

Ultramar has resumed a promotion called "Reveal-A-Deal/Mystery Discounts" in Quebec, Atlantic Canada and parts of Ontario. During the initiative, four million flyers will be mailed to households in those areas offering discounts on gas purchases and various gifts. The direct mail component will be supported with two television commercials. The Quebec ad will feature Pierre Verville attempting to get comments from a vacationing customer. The Atlantic commercial depicts two fishermen who catch an Ultramar coupon. The campaign, created by Montreal-based Palm Arnold Communication, also includes point of purchase materials.
