Time Life hires Kingstar Media

Kingstar Media of Toronto has been retained by the direct response television division of Time Life. The agency will buy long form media in Canada for the publisher's line of music and video products. These include Classic Soul Ballads, The Ultimate '70s, The Hee Haw Collection, Lifetime of Romance & Country Legends Live. "We chose Kingstar because they know and understand the Canadian market and they have a proven track record in DRTV," said Pat Boos, vice-president of media at Time Life. Under this agreement, these products will now be priced in Canadian currency and offered in the Francophone market for the first time.
