Canadian Marketing Association picks new board

The Toronto-based Canadian Marketing Association has selected a new board of directors. Denise Pickett, vice-president of marketing and business development at Amex Canada, has been appointed chair of the board. Richard McLaughlin, marketing vice-president at RBC Financial Group, is the new vice-chair of the board. New board members include Nancy Cardinal of the LCBO, Daniel D'Alessandro of Kraft Canada and Richard Reynolds of Microsoft. Bruce Powell, president of CMA affiliate the Association of Internet Marketing and Sales, has also joined the CMA board. According to the association, this will allow AIMS to become fully engaged in CMA policy development.
