OSL creates World Press Freedom Day ad
By Adnews Staff
Montreal-based OSL Marketing Communications has won an international advertising contest conducted by the World Association of Newspapers to create an ad promoting World Press Freedom Day. "OSL is the only agency from Canada to have been selected by this international contest, and we are very proud because our creativity will be seen by the whole world," said agency creative director Caroline Jarvis. "We are particularly pleased to be attracting attention to an ad that denounces violence against journalists." The ad will be adapted into French, German and Spanish and made available to newspapers around the world in support of World Press Freedom Day, which will take place on May 3. It will also be displayed at the World Newspapers Congress in Seoul from May 29 to June 1 at the association's website, <http://www.worldpressfreedomday.org>.
