Greyhound Canada begins Alberta campaign
By Adnews Staff
Bus line Greyhound Canada of Toronto has begun a new advertising campaign in Edmonton and Calgary using the tagline, "Quicker Than You Think." The campaign includes print, radio and outdoor advertising. The print and outdoor ads focus on the two elements which are, according to the company, most important to riders: fast and enjoyable. The first ad shows two coffee cups, one full and one partially empty, labeled "Depart" and "Arrive." Three radio ads describe the rapidity of the Calgary/Edmonton Express Service by comparing zippers to buttons, email to conventional mail and microwave cooking to regular cooking. "Our goal is to ensure travelers continue to recognize that Greyhound is a smart and enjoyable way to travel in Canada," said Paul Dillon, director of marketing at Greyhound. "As we continue to make changes and launch new services over the next few months, advertising will follow to share the great news with our customers." The campaign was developed by The Richards Group of Dallas, TX. It will rollout to additional Canadian markets over the next several months.
