D3 of Toronto received an award for "Best Interactive Viral" campaign at the recent Viral Awards in New York. The award show recognizes excellence in viral marketing, such as Internet-based and word-of-mouth campaigns. It is held in New York and London. D3's award was for its "Virtual Bartender" initiative for the website Beer.com. This application simulated an interaction between a user typing instructions into a website and a bartender portrayed on video on the same page.
