Par Patrol hires ThinData for email marketing

Golf promotion company Par Patrol has hired ThinData of Toronto to handle its email marketing. Par Patrol provides marketing services and loyalty programs to the golf resort industry in Canada and the United States. Consumers buy an annual subscription to the company's service which gives them access to promotional offers and discounts from participating resorts. "ThinData helped us expand our community from 14,000 to 20,000 over the course of a year," said Nigel Da Costa, vice-president of business development for an associated company called Powder Patrol, which offers the same programs for ski resorts. "As well, our golf club and ski resort partners are delighted by how quickly we can highlight time sensitive deals to customers through email. We're expecting to double in size this year, and ThinData's email marketing programs are a big component of that growth."
