INTERNET IS BETTER FOR BUSINESS

Ninety-two percent of Canadians believe the Internet has changed the way businesses work today, according to a survey done by Digital Equipment of Canada and Decima Research, both of Toronto. The study was carried out at the Canadian National Internet Show which ran in Toronto March 28-31. Of 612 respondents, only four thought the Internet is not changing the communications and business processes of today's corporations. When asked what they use the Internet for, 67% said entertainment, 60% responded research and 62% said business.
