Astral Media promotes three

Astral Media of Toronto has shuffled some staff in the marketing and sales department for The Movie Network and Family Channel. Holly Chapman has been promoted to the newly-created position of director of sales promotion and sponsorships. She will develop partnership and promotion agreements. Chapman joined the company in 2002 as the manager of Viewer's Choice event programming and marketing. She has also worked at Skydome in events and marketing and at House of Blues Concerts Canada. Russell Ward has been promoted to the newly-created position of director of consumer marketing. He will be responsible for the consumer marketing plan for Astral's Toronto-based movie services, including The Movie Network, and for Family Channel. Ward joined Family Channel in 2000. Prior to that he worked in the marketing department at CTV and at Walt Disney Canada. Richard Bartrem has been promoted to director of affiliate marketing. He will develop programs for the movie services and Family Channel. Bartrem joined Astral in 2000 as sales director. He most recently held the position of marketing director for The Movie Channel and Moviepix. He previously worked in sales and marketing at Unilever Canada.
