Palm joins Arnold Worldwide Partners

Palm Publicité Marketing of Montreal has become part of Arnold Worldwide Partners of Boston. Arnold and its parent company, Paris-based Havas, will have a controlling interest in the agency, which will be renamed Palm Arnold Communication. The firm will be managed by Palm founders Pierre Mercier as chief executive officer, Paulette Arsenault as chief creative officer and René Leclerc as chief operating officer. "We have joined a North-American creative powerhouse with strong international resources and deep roots in the French-speaking world," said Mercier. "This will be of great benefit to our clients and our people as together we face a global, competitive market place." Palm's clients include Cadillac Fairview, Canada Revenue Agency, le Choix du Président, Dell Canada, Loblaws, President's Choice Financial, Provigo Distribution, Scott Papers, Ultramar Canada, Virgin Mobile and Volkswagen. Arnold Worldwide Partners operates 17 offices in eight countries.
