Volkswagen Canada stays with MPG/maxxmedia

Following a North American agency review, Volkswagen Canada has decided to keep MPG/maxxmedia as its media management agency in this country. The firm has handled media management for Volkswagen since 2001, except in Quebec, and for Audi nationally since 2002. "They continue to demonstrate great understanding and insight in our key market and have consistently delivered cost efficient buys with a lot of added value," said John White, vice-president of operations at Volkswagen Canada. Palm will continue to provide media services for the Volkswagen brand in Quebec. The other contender in the review was Mediacom, which handles this work for Volkswagen in several international markets and which has recently taken the company's US account from MPG.
