General Motors renews sponsorship of Montreal Jazz Festival

General Motors of Canada has struck a deal to continue to be the presenting sponsor of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal for the next five years. The festival, which will reach its 30th anniversary by the end of the agreement, attracts approximately two million attendees per year. GM became the primary sponsor of the annual event five years ago. The new agreement includes support for the General Motors Pleins feux Concert Series, the General Motors Grand Jazz Award, two outdoor stages for free shows called the Scène General Motors and the Carrefour General Motors, the Grand Événement free outdoor event, the Friends of the Festival Tent, the Friends of the Festival Card and television productions of the performances. General Motors will also continue to be the festival's exclusive vehicle supplier. The 26th Festival International de Jazz de Montréal will take place from June 30 to July 10.
