G.A.P. ADVENTURES REDESIGNS WEB SITE

Hot Tomali Communications of Vancouver has recently completed a redesign the Web site of G.A.P. Adventures. The travel company's site is located at <http://www.gapadventures.com>. The modifications are intended to simplify the use of the site and make searching for a trip more efficient. G.A.P. specializes in adventure vacations for small groups, focusing on culture, nature and active travel. The site offers Amazon cruises, hiking trips through the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, tours of Machu Picchu and trips to Antarctica, among others. The site includes two new elements: a Trip Finder and a Trip Planner. The Finder is designed to make it easier for visitors to find a specific package. The Planner allows comparisons between trips. Hot Tomali handled the design work and the production of templates and guidelines. The programming was performed by G.A.P. "Our design has a clean layout and it condenses a wealth of travel material, making the Web site fully engaging," said Thomas Stringham, creative director at Hot Tomali. "We've also included more interactivity and reduced unnecessary complications."
