SUBWAY BEGINS GREY CUP PROMOTION

Subway Restaurants has begun a contest that will provide five winners with trips to this year's Grey Cup game in Ottawa. The promotion was created by Venture Communications of Calgary. Each Monday between Sept. 27 and Oct. 27, Subway will issue a password to its 2,000 restaurants in Canada. Entrants must get the password from a Subway store, then submit it online through <http://www.subwaygreycup.com>. The contest is being promoted with radio ads and 15- and 30-second TV commercials. A random draw on Oct. 28 will determine the winners. Each trip will include air-fare for two to Ottawa, a three-night hotel stay, tickets to the Grey Cup game, tickets to some festival events, spending money and a Grey Cup clothing package. Ten secondary prizes of CFL merchandise will also be awarded.
