ALLARD-JOHNSON PROMOTES GEORGE LINE IN QUEBEC

Allard-Johnson Communications has created a multi-media advertising campaign to promote a collection of women's clothing called George in Canada. The clothing is sold exclusively at Wal-mart stores. The advertising is running in Quebec only. The campaign began with a teaser component on Sept. 6. The four 15-second commercials ran until Sept. 12. Two 30-second television ads broke on Sept. 13. These will air until Oct. 17. A magazine campaign has also been developed, consisting of an insert and prints ads in the October and November issues of Clin d'oeil, Chatelaine, Elle Quebec, Coupe de Pouce, Madame, Femme and 7 jours. The creative features an Englishman named Robert Mount Stephen St-John, who introduces the collection to the women of Quebec. Outside of Quebec, the George collection is being promoted with a multi-media campaign developed by Publicis.
