SONY BEGINS GREY CUP PROMOTION

Sony of Canada began a promotion called "Touchdown to Win" yesterday. The initiative will run until Oct. 11. Purchasers of eligible products will be entered in a draw for a trip to the Canadian Football League Grey Cup game. CFL team jerseys and footballs will also be given away. Yesterday, Sony also began promoting a rebate offer for certain Hi-MD Walkman digital music players. The contest and rebate are being promoted with national newspaper advertising, public relations and Web site information.
