GATORADE PROMOTES TEAM CANADA DRINK

Gatorade, the "official sports drink" of the World Cup of Hockey 2004, has released a limited edition team-themed drink called Team Canada Red Rush. The berry and fruit flavoured drink will be sold nationally until Sept. 14. The packaging displays the Team Canada logo and a red and white metallic seal. The drink is being promoted with an online contest. Entrants must visit a Web site at <http://www.gatorade.ca> and predict the time Canada scores the winning goal in each game of the World Cup. Gatorade will also distribute Red Rush car flags at some retailers. Gatorade is using Capital C and OMD for the online contest. Public relations are being handled by Strategic Objectives of Toronto.
