OMD WINS EFFEM MEDIA ACCOUNT

OMD has been awarded the media account of Bolton, ON-based Effem, according to a report on AdAge.com. The review for the account included incumbent firm MediaVest Wordwide along with MBS, M2 Universal and Mediaedge:cia. Effem brands include Whiskas, Pedigree, M&Ms and Uncle Ben's. Officials at Effem and OMD could not be reached for comment.
