CIBC PROMOTES UNLIMITED CHEQUING ACCOUNT

CIBC is using a multimedia advertising campaign created by Publicis of Toronto to promote its new Unlimited Chequing account. In a series of television commercials, Canadian actor Tom Cavanagh describes the account. As he does do, passersby interrupt him with questions. CIBC is aiming the campaign at consumers who perform day-to-day banking transactions. The campaign also includes transit advertising in Toronto and Vancouver, newspaper advertising, radio spots, online ads and in-branch posters.
