TORONTO PARKING AUTHORITY BREAKS RADIO ADS
By Adnews Staff
The Toronto Parking Authority has begun a new radio campaign, created by Campbell, Michener & Lee of Toronto. The intention of the ads is to use humour to depict the authority's parking lots as less chaotic than an evening out and less painful than a trip to the dentist. "The ads are tactical," said agency account director Dan Danyer. "Everyone has heard of Green-P, but not everyone knows that some of the best locations are right underneath their very noses." The two radio ads use the same jingle as previous advertising. The city-owned Toronto Parking Authority operates approximately 32,000 parking spaces.
