SEPP'S GETS INTO BREAKFAST FOOD

Sepp's Gourmet Foods of Burnaby, B.C. has added frozen waffles to its list of goodies. The company recently paid $400,000 for equipment previously used by The Awsum Waffle Company of Burnaby, B.C., which went into receivership early last month. Awsum made private label frozen waffles. Sepp's says it expects to sell more than $1.5 million worth of waffles in the next year. The company currently makes products such as gingerbread house kits, sweet meat pies, sausage rolls and cornish pasties. Its goods are sold at delicatessen counters across Canada, in the U.S. and in Singapore. They are advertised in flyers distributed by retailers.
