MONSTER HOLDS DOUBLE DIP CONTEST

Montreal-based online job site Monster.ca has begun a contest called the "Double Dip," the winner of which will receive a prize equal to their salary for one year. The contest is open to users who open a new account at the Web site or log into a pre-existing account. Account holders will be automatically entered in a draw for up to $50,000 when access their account. The contest, developed by Arnold Brand Promotions, will run until June 15. It is being promoted in the Greater Toronto Area with chalk art, radio ads and promotional workers who will be distribute Monster-branded Post-It notepads in high pedestrian traffic areas for three weeks beginning May 3. The company will also give away double dip ice cream cones during lunch hours at various places in the city. Public relations for Monster.ca are handled by Porter Novelli Canada of Toronto.
