GANNETT BUYS CAPTIVATE NETWORK

Gannett of McLean, VA has purchased elevator media company Captivate Network of Westford, MA for an unknown amount. Gannett owns 101 daily newspapers, approximately 500 non-daily publications, a weekly newspaper magazine and 22 television stations. Captivate will operate as an independent company of Gannett. Its current management staff will remain in place. All employees of Captivate will become employees of Gannett.
