GENESIS PROMOTES CANADA READS THROUGH SUGAR MEDIA

Toronto-based Genesis Media has hired Sugar Media & Communications, also of Toronto, to promote the CBC Radio One and CBC New World Canadian Literature program Canada Reads. A one-month campaign is currently running in 100 Timothy coffee stores in Ontario. Sugar Media has an exclusive arrangement with the coffee chain to print messages on sugar packets in the chain's stores. Collateral materials including book marks, aprons and posters have also been constructed. According to Sugar Media, approximately 2.5 million people will be exposed to the campaign, which will run until the end of February.
