CORUS PLANS MOVIE CENTRAL FREE WEEKEND

Corus Entertainment will hold a free movie weekend for its western Canada pay-TV service Movie Central this month. The free weekend runs Feb. 27 to 29 and will be available to all Shaw cable households in western Canada. The free weekend promotion will feature a total of 13 movies airing commercial-free. The movies selected showcase the range of programming offered on Movie Central's six themed channels. In between films, Corus TV and radio personality Maureen Holloway will update viewers with entertainment and "behind the scenes" news.
