ADIDAS BEGINS IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING CAMPAIGN

Sports footwear, apparel, accessories and equipment company Adidas began a new global brand campaign in the U.S. yesterday called "Impossible is Nothing." The campaign, created by 180/TBWA., includes print, outdoor and television advertising. The effort will roll out internationally next month. The print, outdoor and TV ads depict athletes from various sports. The campaign will run for a year. Media planning and buying were handled by Carat International and by PHD in the United Kingdom. A Web component has also been created called the "Impossible is Nothing Challenge." In it, young people are invited to submit personal stories online. Visitors to the site will vote to determine the most inspiring story, the author of which will win prizes.
