OPTIQ READIES SPIDER-MAN 2 EYEWEAR CAMPAIGN

Eyewear designer Optiq of Concord, ON will promote a new Spider-man 2 children's eyewear collection with a North American marketing campaign developed by Kazoo Advertising of Toronto. The start of the marketing effort will coincide with the release of the movie this summer. Print advertising will run in optical trade publications in Canada and the U.S. The ads will use the tagline, "Get caught in the Web." A media relations component is also planned, which will be handled by BlueSky Communications of Toronto. The eyewear collection will consist of four metal frame designs for boys aged five to 11. The frames will go on sale in May.
