BRICK INTRODUCES CLEAR STUBBY BEER BOTTLE

A year after bringing back the original stubby beer bottle, Brick Brewing of Waterloo, ON has created a clear version of the bottle. Distribution of the clear stubby bottles in cases of Brick Lager (Yellow Label) beer in Ontario has been going on for the past couple of weeks. The bottles will also be seen in Alberta as part of Brick Brewing's recent distribution agreement with Big Rock Brewery of Calgary. Brick Brewing brought back the original stubby bottle early last year in cases of Red Cap. Since then the brewery has been using the bottle to package other beers including its Waterloo Dark and Brick Amber. "We wanted our customers to be pleasantly surprised when they opened up their case of beer expecting to see the original brown stubby," said Jim Brickman, founder and CEO of Brick Brewing.
