KREMEWORKS HIRES PREMJI

KremeWorks Canada, the licensed area developer for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in British Columbia, has appointed Moez Premji its "market partner" for the brand's upcoming expansion into British Columbia. Most recently Premji was the director of operations for the restaurant chain Elephant and Castle. The first of seven Krispy Kreme locations in British Columbia will open in Delta in February 2004. KremeWorks Canada is a division of ICON LLC, which also holds the area development rights for the Krispy Kreme brand in the states of Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Hawaii.
