SPOTNIK MOBILE RETAINS ENVIRONICS

Spotnik Mobile of Toronto has appointed Environics Communications its public relations agency of record. Spotnik sells high-speed wireless Internet service. Spotnik and Telus Mobility are in the process of building a national network of wireless Internet access points in transportation facilities, hotels, conference centres, commercial properties and cafes. Currently these hotspots exist only in Ontario. Environics will service the Spotnik account from Toronto. The agency will attempt to raise Spotnik's profile. Environics won the account in a competition against an unknown number of agencies.
