UNIVERSAL STUDIOS READIES HULK VIDEO RELEASE

Universal Studios Home Video has developed a number of marketing alliances to promote the Oct. 28 release of "The Hulk" on DVD and VHS. With Dodge Caravan the company will give away three 2004 Anniversary Edition Dodge Caravans to purchasers of the movie who submit the entry form contained in the packaging. Universal and World Wrestling Entertainment Canada will hold a contest in Sun newspapers in Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Toronto, the winners of which will receive a trip to Toronto to see WWE Live on Nov. 7. At the event, these winners will also get a chance to win a Dodge Caravan. In addition, the first 500 people who show up for the event with a copy of the film or a proof of purchase will be sold discount tickets to a special section of seats. This offer is being promoted with a 30-second commercial during the programs "RAW" on TSN and "Smackdown" on The Score. Universal and A-Channel Calgary will begin a joint promotion on Oct. 17. Each day one viewer of the "Big Breakfast" program will be entered into a draw for a Dodge Caravan. A 30-second commercial is supporting that giveaway. Universal's marketing activities for the home video release of "The Hulk" also include a public relations program from Strategic Objectives of Toronto.
