FORD RELEASES BIGGEST CAMPAIGN TO DATE

Ford Motor Company of Canada's new advertising campaign for the 2004 F-150 pickup is, according to the automaker, its biggest ever. The eight-week campaign, which includes unique Canadian creative, will include television, radio, magazine, newspaper, online and outdoor advertising as well as direct marketing, a 30-minute infomercial, hot air balloons and dealer activities. The tagline is "Rethink Truck." Actor Kiefer Sutherland provides the voiceover in the English-language television and radio ads, while Quebec actor Roy Dupuis provides the voiceovers in the French-language spots. The creative was done by Young & Rubicam of Toronto. Additional promotional support for the F-150 includes a tie-in to a presently-running contest at McDonald's called Fries Surprise.
