GAZ CHOOSES TWO

Two Montreal agencies are now sharing the Gaz Métropolitain account. Armada Bates and H3B Direct and Indirect Marketing won the business last week after doing a joint pitch. They beat out Groupaction Marketing and Tequila, both also of Montreal. The annual budget will run from $500,000 to $1 million. H3B will handle direct marketing and Armada will take care of the rest of the business. Gaz Metropolitain sells gas appliances and natural gas for cars.
H3B also picked up some other new business this month. It was given the job of getting sponsors for the Festival of New Cinema, and was also hired to promote and raise sponsors for GPA Films' newest movie, Stage. H3B began operating last November. Its owners are Benoit Robillard and Nicolas Pleshoyano, both former partners of Allard Direct.
