ORACLE FORMS ALLIANCE WITH VERIFONE

Two U.S. high tech corporations, Oracle Corp. and VeriFone, are teaming up to create a safe Internet payment system. Oracle's WebServer software will be combined with VeriFone's secure payment software to produce a system that will be available in the third quarter. The duo will also add VeriFone's Pay Window software to the Oracle PowerBrowser to give the browser's users various transaction options.
