NEW PRESIDENTS AT THE MEDIA COMPANY, MEDIA BUYING SERVICES

David Campbell has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Media Buying Services of Toronto. Previously a managing partner of the firm, Campbell has been at the company for 30 years. Doug Checkeris has been appointed president and chief executive officer of The Media Company. The Media Company is a joint venture of Media Buying Services and MediaCom Worldwide. Checkeris, previously a managing partner, has been at the company for 22 years. Peter Swain, CEO of MediaCom Canada, will continue as chairman of both Media Buying Services and The Media Company.
