KFC PROMOTES NEW SALADS

Priszm brandz, owner and operator of 429 KFC restaurants in Canada, is promoting the addition of green salads to the menu of that chain. The new menu items are family- and individual-sized Caesar and Garden salads. They are being supported with national television advertising and in-restaurant materials created by Young & Rubicam. Regional newspaper and radio advertising is also in use. The advertising is part of a new priszm campaign for KFC called "Fresh and Flavourful" that will run through the summer. The campaign promotes KFC as a maker of high quality food. Its tagline is, "Get Real."
