NEW MENTOS CAMPAIGN BEGINS

Blitz Direct, Data & Promotion of Montreal recently began a new promotional campaign for Perfetti Van Melle's Mentos mints. The five-week initiative is aimed at young adults 18-24 years of age. Specially designed 3D candy dispensers have been installed in the washrooms of approximately 130 bars and restaurants in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Blitz and media company NewAd produced the dispensers, which take the shape of a human body. Men have access to a dispenser with a feminine silhouette, while women see dispensers shaped like a man's body. According to Blitz, the promotional concept will also be adapted for gay bars. Each dispenser contains individually wrapped packages of Mentos. The text reads "Bite Me."
